When we look up and see thousands of stars dispersed across the night sky, we usually wonder: what are they? It is a question our ancestors have asked for millions of years, and generations of people have devoted their heart to seeking the answer. Interestingly, different cultures find the same hidden patterns behind the stars, and they mark this pattern within the codes of constellations. The study of astronomy and astrology is hence born and trickles its influence to shape different cultures throughout the centuries. In this show, we will take on different cultures’ views of the night sky and hear about the stories behind several beautiful constellations. We will learn about different cultures’ interpretations of stars’ patterns and beliefs on their impact to our society. We will witness the development of astronomy and astrology and how they begin to separate on different paths.
